St Brigid’s perform at The Big Diff
St Brigid’s played their third gig yesterday, headlining The Big Difference Debut; New Band Showcase.
They were supported by Blackhorse Hotel and The Sydneys. The eclectic Black Horse Hotel had a male and female lead, who also played a range of instruments, including some from the future. The Sydneys performed a very solid set and went down great with the audience.
It’s the first time St Brigid’s have performed since March. They have two new songs in their set list; ‘Plant Mum’, about how they can’t keep their plants alive, and ‘Hypercritical’, beautifully sung by Molly.
Of course they finished their set with ‘Ode to the Oatcake’ It seems by the chanting, the song is already getting a following, and there was even a mini mosh pit. It would have to be mini though as the song is only a minute long.
We look forward to seeing them play again on June 26th at Duffys bar.
