RC25 The Reunion 7th August
Wow! What a night! It was wonderful to get the bands back together and celebrate Leicester women in music at Duffy’s Bar with most of the 2025 Riotous Collective cohort.
The night started with the banging Celestar Coco, complete with flash mob line dance, finishing with their famous Lord of the Flies anthem.
Over too soon, High Maintenance took to the stage, sadly without our Emma for more of our trademark feminist rants.
Tinderbox brought their intelligent ironic tunes, missing Nalita on lead vocals, Sah did her proud with a cheeky stage presence and our Caroline helping out on keys.
St Brigid’s were on next, confessing to being bad plant moms, wanting coffee and building people. Kelly joined us virtually due to Covid, with Fish and Chrissie standing in with Sara on holiday.
The night ended with the explosive Visceral Vessels, a rollercoaster set from the demure Home to the sexy Estrogen, scary Venom and pretty Pockets.
Big thanks to everyone involved, from the crowd to the crew. We know how to party!
