Dada Women (now Dada Womxn since April ’25) formed in November 2022 We are an all-female four piece that sing about the human experience. We’re all about raw, unfiltered emotion! Our sound serves a moody guitar-led, grunge-infused indie-rock cocktail with a twist of humour that’ll make you scream, dance, laugh, and cry all at the same time. We’re a multinational, multicultural, multigenerational band of overthinkers, for us music has no borders of any kind. Womxn, we get it. Picture PJ Harvey, the Pixies, Patti Smith, and Siouxsie and the Banshees in a blender with a dash of sharp English wit, Irish humour and Italian passion. Our themes capture the female experience ; self-doubt (Queen of rumination) imposter syndrome (Deepfake) kicking ass (Big Doll energy (BDE)) safety (Free to Roam) unequal relationships (Six times Love) and arseholes (fur coat (no knickers)). We get the audience jumping but also have a deeper message. We dig deep into experiences that define us. We’re all about honesty, energy, and showcasing real, unfiltered female experiences.
