Music Tasters
As a prequel to our 66 Days to the Stage project that starts in January 2026, why not try out with one of our Music Taster events. These are one off events that give you a taste of what its like to do the full project.
During the three hours will get to try out a range of instruments, meet a lovely group of like minded women and then write a simple song together. All for the fun of it, no pressure!

Time of workshop: 1.00pm -4.00pm
Cost: £15 for a 3-hour session
Places available: 20
Instruments available: electric guitar, electric bass guitar, drums, keyboard. Attendees are welcome to bring and use their own instruments if preferred.
66 DAYS TO THE STAGE
At Riotous Collective workshops, women of all ages from 25+ yrs, and of all musical abilities (including none) will have the opportunity to try playing any and all of the instruments normally played by bands, and get to experience playing in a band. The aim of the workshops is for the attendees to form bands, write their own songs and perform them at their debut gig around 8 weeks after the first workshop.
Open to: 25+ years cis women, trans women, anyone who identifies as a woman
